About the Game
Avoid is a classic asteroid-survival game in the spirit of the vector arcade shooters of the 1980s. You fly a small ship in open space with drifting rocks all around you. Rotate, thrust, shoot the asteroids apart, and use your energy shield to survive close calls. Clear every rock on the screen to finish the level.

Rules
- You start with 3 lives. A collision with a rock costs a life, and you respawn briefly invincible.
- Shooting a large asteroid splits it into medium ones, and medium ones split into small ones. Small rocks are the fastest and hardest to hit.
- Your shield deflects asteroids while it has energy. Energy drains quickly while the shield is on and recharges slowly when it is off, so use it in short bursts.
- Your best scores are saved on your device.
Tips
- Thrust carries momentum. Tap it briefly and let your ship drift rather than holding it down.
- Break big rocks when you have room to move; a screen full of small, fast rocks is much harder.
- Save the shield for emergencies and let it recharge between fights.
